Passed my driving test today with only two minors and I had Mark Gregory as my instructor and I must say he is an absolutely brilliant instructor!!! Unfortunately I didn't get along with my first ever driving instructor which really decreased my confidence in terms of driving, but I decided to give driving lessons another go and a lot of people recommended Mark to me and learning with him was the best choice Ive ever made because he really increased my confidence, he was really patient if I made a mistake and helped me correct mistakes in an easy way I could understand and he makes driving look and sound easy and hes really easy to talk to!! I would recommend Mark to anyone who wants to learn to drive :) Thanks again Mark!!

After the 1st lesson Mark put me at ease, such a friendly chatty guy who taught me how to drive not just to pass my test, making me think about my mistakes not just correcting me. Mark is throwing questions all the time to keep you alert his lessons could never be boring or repetitive. After 5 months of driving from starting from scratch and never driven before Mark was patient and helpful in teaching me how to drive, Mark had helped me every step of the way and was helpful in building my confidence up and helped me learn how to read the different road situations and how to deal with them in a safe and appropriate way, mark is a very good diving instructor and will help you with anything you're not sure about or not fully confident in doing, I am definitely going to pass on his number because I couldn't fault anything wrong with any lesson or how he taught me. At approaching 30 years old I decided it was about time I plucked up the courage to learn how to drive so I could take my son out on my days off work and wouldn't have to rely on my husband for everything! I aren't a very confident person anyway – and found busy roads quite intimidating and would easily get flustered. There were a few times where I let my insecurities get the better of me and I almost gave up altogether. But Mark has the patience of a saint and had more faith in me than I had in myself! And thanks to him boosting my confidence I have realised I am a better driver than I gave myself credit for – proven by the fact I passed my test with only 2 minors. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mark to anyone – he is professional, always punctual and has a great sense of humour that make lessons fun! He teaches you the skills to make you a good and safe driver for life rather than just ticking the boxes to pass your test - which I think is very important. At 26 I decided I needed to stop being chauffeured around by my husband and learn to drive!! When I was 17 I did have around 6 months of lessons but for various reasons never ended up taking my test and in the years between I had lost my confidence with driving. Mark has been a great, friendly instructor over the past few months. I am so happy to have passed my practical test first time. In addition, I have also picked up lots of useful information about road safety and driving in general which will no doubt benefit me for many years of driving. Overall, I would definitely refer any of my friends to Mark for a fun and successful time learning to drive.

I would highly recommend Mark as an instructor. I found him to be always patient and friendly. Lessons were hard work but enjoyable and it was nice to see how Id done in the previous lesson and build on those weak points in the next. I had a great time learning to drive with Mark doing a semi-intensive course. The regular lessons really made a difference in my progress compared to just 1 hour a week. Mark is very easy to get along with which made it easier to relax whilst learning to drive. To start with I had no idea about how to drive but with Marks' patience my learning curve soon shot up. I started to learn to drive when I was 17 and went from manual to automatic and had numerous instructors, I decided I wanted to stick with automatic as I could grasp this easier but i just couldn't find the right instructor. Now 21 I was recommended by someone to Mark and he was fantastic no matter how many times I did the same things wrong each lesson he was very patient and no matter how may excuses of having hair in my eyes and thats why I didnt check my mirrors properly he made sure I got there in the end. It was nice to have an instructor that you could have a laugh with on lessons aswell as him being very proffesional and getting you where you need to be for your test. I would recommend Mark to anyone and my sister who turns 17 soon will also be driving with Mark. Thank you again so much for all your help Mark can't wait to get on the road on my own now.

I really enjoyed learning to drive with Mark, he was professional, had a good sense of humour and always helped me if I needed it. (However the more lessons I had, I started to hear the words 'you do what you think is best!', something that would always make me laugh but also encourage me to think on my feet!) After stopping and starting driving for 3 years, due to the lack of confidence in myself I never thought I was going to come close to passing my test, but when I started learning with Mark no matter how much I put myself down Mark was always there to counter act my thinking with positive feedback which began to make me believe I could do it. I started driving lessons with Mark having taken 2 tests many years ago. I asked him to start me at the basics again as plenty of time had passed!
I found Mark's tuition style to not only be thorough but amazingly well considered. He broke each aspect down into small achievable steps allowing me to quickly build an excellent skills base.
Most of all he was very (very) patient and immediately put me at ease. I would whole heartedly recommend Mark to anybody. He obviously has a passion for producing good drivers rather than ones that are simply able to pass a test.
Nearly 2 years on I consider myself to be a good driver and many of Mark's saying stay with me to this day. I still hear him cough if I venture over the speed limit a little.

I would recommend Mark to any body because he taught me so much in such little time, I had 29 hours spaced out over 9 months and because of Marks effort and ability I passed first time. Hi Mark I just wanted to say many thanks for helping me to pass my driving test yesterday 14/11/11. My journey to achieving this was a long one for me! even longer I am sure for you! without the constant assurance you gave me especially when I honestly felt like I was banging my head against a wall you continued to boost my confidence when I was at my lowest. PATIENCE is something so important for a pupil and you certainly had it in buckets for me!!!!! I was so nervous I found everything so hard the night before lessons I would wake up thinking how will I get through the lesson tomorrow but when I would get in your car you thought me how to over come my nerves you believed in me. Mark you told me that I could achieve this and I have because of the belief you had in me.
I passed yesterday and an hour later I was at Junction 32 with my daughter this morning I did my first solo trip just to the local shops but what an achievement that was! This will make such a big difference to my family and especially my family when they visit from back home no longer waiting for the bus. I will strive to be the best driver I possibly can remembering all you have thought me. My life has already changed within 24hrs it"s amazing! from the bottom of my heart thank you so much.

Mark is a good instructor, he is patient, helpful and has lots of useful tips to offer.
